YuE – Music Generation (WSL)
Important: YuE runs ONLY in WSL. This is an advanced, resource-heavy set up.
YuE is the most advanced open-source music generation system available today. For the first time, you can achieve Suno-like quality from a simple text prompt.
It is resource intensive. Expect at least 16GB of RAM. Even with 24GB, a 60-second track can take around 10 minutes to generate.

The setup includes a helper that opens WSL and sets up YuE inside a Windows-accessible directory.

- Set up a WSL distro if needed
- Open WSL
- Run
./set up-yue-wsl.sh - Run
./run-yue-wsl.sh
Tip: Always use five genre prompts for best results.
YuE is not perfect yet, but the pace of improvement is incredible. This is one to watch closely.
