SmoothMix Wan 2.2 is a community-merged checkpoint built from the base Wan 2.2 I2V and T2V models, with motion-focused LoRAs and tuning baked directly into a single ~20GB file.
No dual-UNet setup. No BlockSwap configuration. You load it like any other model and the enthusiast tuning is already inside the weights.
The footage is smooth, stable, and moves cleanly. Users are generating consistent 5–7 second 720p clips on 16GB GPUs including 5060Ti and A4000 cards. Character transformations, scene transitions, and action sequences hold together without the usual flicker or warping.
Two areas where it clearly shines:
This is not a breakthrough model. But it is a clear step forward in usability. Someone packaged the “good settings” directly into the checkpoint. That alone makes it worth experimenting with.
Note: This file is large. Use the Model Manager to delete unused models to free up space before setup.
