Ottertory – Real-Time Mic Transcriber
This is a fun little project built by PointAve, one of our Get Going Fast members. Ottertory listens through your microphone, transcribes in real time, translates into multiple languages, speaks back using Kokoro TTS, and can even send the text to your local Ollama LLMs for rewriting or content control.
It’s not perfect, but it’s surprisingly capable and genuinely enjoyable to use — plus it’s a great example of what a single dedicated creator can build.
